We’re inside the Northumberland International Dark Sky Park, so on a clear night the stars are extraordinary, even from the car park. Kielder Observatory is around 20 minutes away and runs events through the year. Book ahead, wrap up warm, and come back to us for a nightcap.
Make a weekend of it
Autumn is a lovely time to walk the Lakeside Way or the forest trails, with the trees turning and far fewer people about. Our eight en-suite rooms all include a full Northumbrian breakfast, so you can set off well fed.
