Garden Cottage is our self-catering holiday cottage, a few yards across the garden from the inn. It sleeps four in two en-suite bedrooms — one double, one twin — with an open-plan living, dining and kitchen space below, a wood-burning stove and underfloor heating throughout.
The kitchen is fully equipped, with a dishwasher, washing machine, fridge-freezer and microwave, and there are Smart TVs in the lounge and both bedrooms, broadband Wi-Fi, quality linen and winter duvets. Parking is private, right beside the cottage.
It is let on a self-catering basis for short breaks of three nights or more, or by the week, which makes it a good base for walking, cycling, fly fishing on Kielder Water or a stargazing trip to Kielder Observatory — with the inn’s kitchen and two bars a two-minute walk away on the nights you would rather not cook.
